The management team of APWireless has been actively involved in financing wireless infrastructure since the late 1990s. During the past 24 years our team has been associated with approximately $5 billion of asset financings, including thousands of cell site lease buyouts.

Global Executives

Daniel J. Hasselman

CO-CEO OF APWIRELESS

Mr. Hasselman became co-CEO of APWireless in December 2019. Previously, Mr. Hasselman had been President of APWireless since 2011, in charge of both U.S. and international operations. Prior to that he was Managing Director of the business since co-founding it in 2010. All told Mr. Hasselman has more than 20 years of experience as an executive in the real estate and wireless infrastructure industries. In May 2007, Mr. Hasselman co-founded Vertical Capital Group, LLC, which originated investments in telecommunications infrastructure assets on behalf of RFS Capital, LLC and for which he served as President until co-founding the APWireless business. Prior to that Mr. Hasselman opened and managed an office for Wireless Capital Partners, LLC, then a leading U.S. telecom lease acquisitions firm. In 2001, Mr. Hasselman founded U.S. Home and Loan, Inc., a subsidiary of Windsor Capital Mortgage Corporation, then the 2nd largest mortgage brokerage firm in the United States. Mr. Hasselman attended Minnesota State University and San Diego State University.

Scott E. Langeland

CO-CEO OF APWIRELESS

Mr. Langeland became co-CEO of APWireless in December 2019. Previously, Mr. Langeland had been an Executive Vice President and senior counsel for the APWireless, overseeing the legal and underwriting functions within the AP Wireless business, including leading the efforts to enter, and to formulate asset acquisition structures in, new jurisdictions. Mr. Langeland joined APWireless in October 2010. His legal experience covers areas such as structured finance, commercial real estate, and civil litigation. Before joining the APWireless business, Mr. Langeland worked for a small law firm in San Diego, CA. Mr. Langeland is a Cum Laude graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law and holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

Andrew K. Wood

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Andy has more than 21 years of experience as a professional and executive in the real estate and wireless infrastructure industries. Prior to being appointed EVP of Operations at APWireless, Andy fulfilled the role of Managing Director at WIP. Andy also co-founded and owned Vertical Capital Group, which originated investments in telecommunications infrastructure assets on behalf of RFS Capital. Andy entered the telecom industry by working on behalf of major carriers in the United States as a consultant for a leading telecommunications firm. With his background in real estate, mortgages and commercial leasing, Andy pioneered innovative acquisition strategies across the telecommunications industry. Andy has also served on the board of directors for San Diego’s Gaslamp City Square. He earned his BA in Finance and Business Administration from San Diego State University.

Thomas Evans

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT – GLOBAL ASSET MANAGEMENT

Tom joined APWireless in 2011 to expand the successful US business into the UK. Following the successful launch of the UK business, Tom worked to open up APWireless Ireland and later other European businesses, including The Netherlands, Belgium and Hungary. Previously, Tom has spent over 15 years in telecoms site acquisition and estate management in the UK market. Prior to joining APWireless, his experience included working for a leading UK site acquisition firm, as National Acquisition and Planning Manager. More recently, he worked for a firm of Chartered Property Consultants advising landlords on telecommunication site estate management matters. Most recently, Tom has taken an active role in Asset Management. His principal role today is managing and developing the APWireless Portfolio of over 8,000 leases on a Global basis.

Guglielmo Noya

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT – LATIN AMERICA

Guglielmo joined APWireless in 2021 to expand the business in Latin America. Previously, he spent over 20 years in the telecom industry as a C-level executive in several subsidiaries of the Telecom Italia Group. He was CEO of Entel PCS in Chile, CEO of Telecom Personal in Argentina, C.O.O. and CFO of TIM Brasil, Group Head of M&A at Telecom Italia. Mr. Noya started his career as financial analyst at I.M.I., one of the leading investment banks in Italy. Guglielmo’s key competences are General Management, M&A and Business Development. He holds a cum laude M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at University of Rome “La Sapienza” and an MBA. Guglielmo’s principal role is managing and developing the Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico businesses and to open new markets in Latin America.

Eduardo do Couto Rosa Liuzzi

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT – NEW MARKETS

Eduardo has over 10 years of experience in Business Management and Marketing. Before being appointed Vice President, Eduardo held the position of International Marketing Director at APW’s headquarters in San Diego, California, where he was responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of quality standards for the company’s marketing division in USA and abroad. Before joining APW, Eduardo spent 4 years at Grupo Abril with strategies for renewing and retaining customers. Eduardo obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Communication with an emphasis on Strategic Marketing from ESPM – Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing. In 2008, he specialized in Direct Marketing by ABEMD (Brazilian Association of Direct Marketing). In 2012 he was certified in Business Administration by the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).

Edward W. Bergstrom

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

Edward has more than 21 years of experience in sales and sales management. Prior to being appointed Senior Vice President at APWireless, Edward was Vice President of Sales for the US market. Edward was a principal at a successful mortgage loan origination branch from December 2000 to June 2008, where he originated an average of over 30 transactions totaling more than $3 million per month in deal volume. He also founded E.W.B Financial, which offered a variety of finance products in September, 2005.

Seth Trejo

REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT – NORTH AMERICA, AUSTRALIA, PUERTO RICO

Seth has more than 15 years’ experience as an executive and counsel in the real estate and wireless infrastructure industries. Prior to assuming a business role at AP Wireless, Seth served as General Counsel to Lease Advisors, overseeing all legal affairs and the closing department. In his career, Seth has been intricately involved in the closing of over 1,700 transactions in multiple countries, deploying over $375M in capital. Seth has also served as in-house counsel to Landmark Dividend and Wireless Capital Partners. On the tenant side, Seth began his career as outside counsel to Verizon Wireless. Seth is a graduate of Loyola Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Seth is also a licensed real estate broker.

Chris Jager

VICE PRESIDENT – TECHNOLOGY

Chris has more than eight years of experience as an IT professional. Before being appointed VP of Technology, Chris fulfilled the role of Director of Information Systems at APWireless. In his role as VP of Technology, Chris is responsible for the global IT and IS infrastructure. Next to that he supports the E-Marketing initiatives for APWireless. Prior to his arrival in 2011, Chris worked at Royal Dutch Shell where he specialized in Supply Chain Management. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science and holds a M.S. in Information Science from the University of Twente.
